Buying a French Bulldog puppy should feel exciting, personal, and straightforward. At VelvetFrenchie, we guide you from your first inquiry and family-matching conversation through document review, reservation, preparation, travel or pickup, and your puppy’s arrival home. You can begin by viewing our available French Bulldogs or joining our waiting list if your preferred puppy is not yet available.

Step 1: Find Your Frenchie

Begin by visiting our Available Puppies page to meet the Frenchies currently looking for loving homes. If you find a puppy you love, send us an enquiry and let us know a little about yourself, your location and the kind of home you can provide. If your preferred color, gender or age is not currently available, you may join our waiting list and allow us to help you find the right match.

Step 2: Tell Us What You Are Looking For

Tell us about your preferred puppy, including colors gender, age and expected timeframe you have in mind. We will also ask for your contact information, location and preferred delivery or pickup method. This helps us understand your needs and recommend a suitable Frenchie for your family.

Step 3: Review the Puppy Documents

Before you reserve your puppy, we will provide the applicable purchase agreement, health guarantee, invoice and payment instructions. Please review these documents carefully. Our team will be available to answer any questions before you continue with the reservation.

Step 4: Reserve Your Puppy

An available puppy can be reserved with a deposit equal to 20% of the puppy’s total purchase price. If you are joining our waiting list, an initial deposit of $250 will secure your place. When you later choose a puppy, the $250 will be credited toward the required 20% reservation deposit. Once a puppy has been reserved, they will no longer be offered to another family, subject to the terms of the purchase agreement.

Step 5: Receive Updates About Your Puppy

After reserving your Frenchie, you will receive new photographs or videos approximately every two weeks so you can watch your puppy grow. When possible, we can also arrange a scheduled video call, allowing you to see your chosen puppy live before welcoming them home. Your puppy’s health, comfort and daily care will always remain our first priority.

Step 6: Arrange Travel or Local Pickup

VelvetFrenchie will help coordinate the safest available way for your puppy to reach you. Depending on your location, this may include professional international pet transport, delivery with a flight or ground nanny, or local pickup. We will explain the available options, expected travel date, collection process and any additional transportation costs before the journey is confirmed.

Travel and pickup timing depend on the puppy’s age, origin, destination, veterinary readiness, and route requirements. U.S.-based puppies are generally available from about eight weeks, while European-born puppies traveling to the United States are generally around six months. We confirm each puppy’s expected travel or pickup date individually.

Step 7: Complete the Remaining Payment

The remaining 80% balance must be paid and cleared at least 10 days before your puppy’s scheduled travel or pickup date. Payment may be completed using the approved method shown on your invoice. Completing payment on time allows us to finalize the applicable paperwork and transportation or pickup arrangements.

Step 8: Prepare for Your Puppy’s Arrival

Before your puppy travels, we will send you the confirmed itinerary, arrival information and collection instructions. You will also receive the applicable veterinary records, vaccination information, health certificate, puppy passport and travel documents. We recommend preparing your puppy’s food, bed, crate, harness, bowls and other essentials before their arrival.

Step 9: Welcome Your Frenchie Home

When the special day arrives, you will meet your puppy at the agreed airport, delivery location or local pickup point. We will make sure you understand where to go, what identification or documents to bring and how the handover will work.
