VelvetFrenchie Puppy Growth & Weight Tracker
Log your puppy's weight and see how it compares with the typical range for a French Bulldog.
Typical ranges combine two published French Bulldog weight charts and are a guide only. Healthy puppies vary, so a weight outside the range is not a diagnosis. Your weigh-ins are saved in this browser on this device only. Ask your vet if you are worried about your puppy's growth.
The VelvetFrenchie Puppy Growth & Weight Tracker is a simple, practical tool that helps new owners keep track of their French Bulldog puppy’s weight and see how it compares with the typical range for the breed. Enter your puppy’s date of birth and sex, add a weigh-in whenever you weigh them, and the tracker does the rest.
Every weigh-in is plotted on a growth chart, with a shaded band showing the typical range for a male or female Frenchie from 8 weeks to 12 months. You can see at a glance whether your puppy is within the range, above it or below it, and how the weight is changing from one weigh-in to the next. A history table shows the date, age, weight and change for every entry, so you have a clear record of your puppy’s progress.
After each weigh-in you get a short, plain-English note about what the number means. If your puppy is above the typical range, it reminds you to check body condition, with ribs you can easily feel and a visible waist from above. If your puppy is below the range, or the weight has dropped since the last weigh-in, it tells you when to check with your vet. From 3 months on, it also gives a rough estimate of your puppy’s adult weight, which is only a guide because every puppy grows differently.
You can switch between pounds and kilograms, and your weigh-ins are saved on your device, so they’ll be there next time you visit. There’s no account or sign-up. When you want a copy, the Export CSV button downloads your puppy’s full weight history, which is handy for sharing with your vet or keeping your own records. The tracker is mobile-friendly, so you can log a weight on your phone right after the weigh-in.
We recommend weighing your puppy at the same time of day, ideally before a meal, and more often during the fast-growing early months. Pair the tracker with our Puppy Feeding Calculator to keep portions in line as your Frenchie grows.
This tracker is a general guide, not veterinary advice. The typical ranges are based on published French Bulldog weight charts, and healthy puppies vary, so a weight outside the range is not a diagnosis. If you are ever worried about your puppy’s growth, appetite or health, speak to your vet.
The Velvet Frenchie Puppy Growth & Weight Tracker is more than a tool. It’s a friendly way to follow your Frenchie’s growth from tiny puppy to healthy adult.
