Puppy DNA Testing — Additional Fee
Our parent Frenchies undergo DNA screening to help identify inherited genetic conditions. We do not routinely perform individual DNA tests on puppies before they leave our care. However, if you would like your puppy tested, we can help arrange it for an additional fee. Pricing will depend on the type of DNA panel requested.

You can pay directly from your U.S. bank account using the ACH network. We will send you our payment details and a unique reference number by email. You do not need a Wise account—you can initiate the transfer through your own bank. ACH payments generally arrive within one to three business days, although processing times may vary.
Credit or Debit Card Through Stripe
Stripe provides a fast and secure way to pay using an eligible credit or debit card. You do not need a Stripe account to complete your payment. Your card details are processed securely by Stripe and are not stored by VelvetFrenchie.

Import charges depend on your destination country’s regulations. In the United States, privately owned pets are generally exempt from customs duty. However, the airline or cargo-handling agent may charge an airport handling fee, typically around $70–$120 USD, which is paid directly when you collect your puppy. This is a handling charge, not an import tax.

No. VelvetFrenchie will coordinate the required veterinary, travel and import documentation for your puppy. Requirements vary by country, so we will explain in advance if you need to provide information, sign a form or complete a destination-specific step.
For puppies entering the United States from abroad, the required paperwork may include a CDC Dog Import Form receipt, microchip and vaccination records, a veterinary health certificate and commercial-import documentation. We will prepare or coordinate the applicable documents and send you clear collection instructions before your puppy travels.
When your puppy arrives, you will generally only need to bring identification, complete any required signatures, pay applicable airport handling charges and collect your new Frenchie.
